Core drilling, stitch drilling and anchor drilling across the UK — from 12mm to 600mm, in concrete, brick, stone and reinforced steel.

Here at BritCut we have over 40 years of experience as diamond drilling specialists. This extensive industry knowledge enables us to choose the most appropriate diamond drilling services for your project. Using the finest quality diamond drill bits and the latest drilling technology means that we can drill concrete and other materials such as brick, stone, steel and reinforced concrete, quickly, accurately and with minimal dust and noise.
Our complete diamond drilling services give you the results you need, on time and within budget across London, Kent and Essex. Get in touch with us today.

We've drilled for Skanska, Sir Robert McAlpine and Network Rail — so we understand what a principal contractor needs: no surprises, accurate pre-drilling surveys, and operatives who work safely on live sites without disrupting your programme.
All our operatives hold CSCS cards. We're Drilling & Sawing Association members and SSSTS certified. We carry out free pre-works ferro scanning on request to identify rebar before any core is drilled.
Every job — from a single 50mm service penetration to a full stitch drilling programme — gets the same attention: clear documentation, on-time completion, and a site left clean.

Our diamond drilling rigs use water-cooled, industrial-grade diamond core bits to cut clean, accurate holes with no cracking or vibration damage to the surrounding structure. Whether you need a 25mm cable entry or a 600mm service duct, we deliver consistent results first time.
Not sure if diamond drilling is right for your project? Our team can advise — and we offer ferro scanning and GPR concrete scanning to give you a full picture of the structure before any work begins.
When you hire BritCut, you’re working with a contractor that takes health, safety and quality seriously. We hold the accreditations your principal contractor will ask for:

Clean, precise circular holes from 12mm to 600mm — through concrete, brick, reinforced steel and masonry. Pre-works ferro scanning included on request.
Creating larger openings where a single core isn’t enough — ideal for door apertures, lift shafts and duct penetrations in thick concrete walls.
Remote-controlled precision demolition for confined spaces, restricted access and live sites — significantly less noise, dust and vibration than traditional methods.
Diamond drilling uses a rotating cylindrical bit embedded with industrial diamonds to cut clean, circular holes through concrete, masonry, brick and stone. It produces no vibration or shock to the surrounding structure, making it safe for sensitive or occupied buildings.
We drill holes from 12mm up to 600mm diameter. For openings larger than this, stitch drilling — a sequence of overlapping core holes — creates any shape or size of opening.
Yes. We strongly recommend a pre-works ferro scan before any core drilling to locate rebar, post-tension cables and conduits. Our operatives carry Hilti PS 300 Ferroscan equipment and can scan as part of the same mobilisation.
Standard drilling depths reach up to 1,000mm. Deeper bores are achievable using extension barrels. For through-slab penetrations in deep structures, we can core from both faces where access permits.
Diamond drilling is water-cooled, suppressing dust almost entirely and significantly reducing noise compared to percussive methods. We use vacuum slurry management to contain water and debris on site. It can be carried out in occupied buildings with minimal disruption.
Yes. We regularly work in occupied offices, hospitals, schools, and on operational Network Rail infrastructure. Our operatives comply fully with site-specific RAMS requirements.
BritCut is CHAS, Acclaim and ConstructionLine accredited, a DSA and NSCC member. All operatives hold valid CSCS cards and NVQ Level 2 in Diamond Drilling and Sawing. We hold Network Rail approval.
