Our Bristol diamond drilling service uses modern water-cooled rotary drilling equipment to create precise circular penetrations without vibration or shock to the surrounding structure. We carry out pre-works ferro scanning before any core drilling to locate rebar and confirm safe drill positions — this is standard practice on all our Bristol projects. For post-tensioned slabs, we carry out a GPR survey first. We will not drill a post-tensioned structure without scanning.

We core from 12mm to 600mm diameter to any depth, in any orientation. For openings larger than a single core bit can achieve, we use stitch drilling — a sequence of overlapping cores that creates any size or shape of opening.
